Taj Mahal
About Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World has a bunch of reasons for the tourists to visit and make it a memorable experience. This could be enhanced if you plan your visit to the Taj Mahal under the guidance of the Indian Tour Operators. Love stories have been the prime topic of discussion in all the parts of the world but when it comes to the origin of the Taj Mahal, the love stories climbs up to an edge where nobody could doubt on love. Shah Jahan, one of the emperors of the Mughal dynasty erected the most beautiful building of India for his love that is better known as Mumtaz Mahal. To fulfil the wish of his wife, Shah Jahan ordered approximately 20,000 workers to erect an artwork instead a tomb that couldn’t be made again in the lives of the people.

Unfortunately, Mumtaz Mahal died due to bad health and Shah Jahan died after some years. Interestingly, the body of Shah Jahan was buried next to Mumtaz Mahal. This proved their incomparable love for each other. Tourists along with their respective spouse visit the beautiful and glorious monument Taj Mahal to feel the love in their lives. The elegant monument is purely made of marble and leaves you with an experience that could be relived in your memory later on.

Being located in Agra, tourists are invited from all over the world as the former is at a mere distance from Delhi which is the national capital of India. Agra is situated on the banks of the Yamuna River which was the main source of water in the earlier times of the Mughal Dynasty. The flora and the birds moving over the pond of the Taj Mahal improve the beauty of the view of the Taj Mahal to its maximum. At the entrance of the Taj Mahal, you may have a look at a pond adding to the elegance of the tombs of the Taj Mahal.

It is said that Shah Jahan asked the workers who were involved in the construction of the wonder to sacrifice their hands. This was done due to the fact that Shah Jahan was in search for an excellent work that could not be made or rather erected again. So, he asked his workers and they followed his order without any force. The beautifully preserved gardens are also one of the attractions as soon as tourists enter into the Taj Mahal.

Some years before, it was stated that the colour of the Taj Mahal is changing to yellow. Fortunately, the tourist department of India gave attention to the issue and then somehow managed to resolve it. The Indian tourism department has laid down some of the facilities during their visit to the Taj Mahal. After visiting one of the Seven Wonders of the World, you surely want to visit some other places near Agra like the Fatehpur Sikri and the Red Fort. One of the famous poets has compared Taj Mahal to a heaven. After knowing all about Taj Mahal, your visit is going to be planned soon.
