Old Delhi, with its long narrow Chandni Chowk lanes have all the antiques pieces which are rare to be found anywhere else today. At the same time, the commercial New Delhi city can easily cast magic over you.

Day 02: Arrival at Delhi (Day 2)

Next day, after the morning breakfast, time will come to explore and take a trip to significant landmarks of the city constructed during East India Company time. Built during British period, the places have a rich legacy. Located in the centre of the city, India Gate is the war memorial paying tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their life for the Indian empire during First World War. After that, we pass by the important monuments such as Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan- residential house of President of India along with the Government Secretariat. In the evening there will be a surprise in store for you in the Hotel, which will make your tour even more memorable.

In the morning, we will begin our journey to Agra, approximately 200 km distance away from Delhi, taking about four hours. There you will be escorted to one of the finest hotels of the city, reminding of ancient and magnificent culture of Agra. Starting with one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal, which was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal, this masterpiece has stood test of time. Then we will move forward to Agra Fort, which is no less than Taj Mahal in its popularity. Built under the guidance of three Mughal emperors, the fort is one of the biggest forts in the country. Using red sandstone, this fort is beautifully constructed. In the evening one can taste the delicacies of Agra, which is indeed very delicious.

Day 04: Agra / Jaipur

Next day, on the way to Jaipur, we will visit Fatehpur Sikri. Listed as one of the World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Fatehpur Sikri has been an important tourist point, attracting millions of tourists both from within as well as outside the country every year. It showcases King Akbar’s ideals and amazing sense of culture and remains a significant monument in the pages of history. One of course cannot miss the Itmadullah’s Tomb, said to have interior even finer than Taj Mahal. The monument was built by Noor Jahan paying tribute to her father.

Day 05: Jaipur

This morning we will continue our journey by moving towards Jaipur, the Pink City. Planned in an extremely fine manner, the city which was once ruled by princes, boasts itself of rich and bright culture of Rajasthan. The King who laid the foundation of the city is said to have referred many books on architecture. No wonder, it is adjudged as one of the best places to visit in Asia according to a recent poll. Tourism is one of the biggest revenue earners for the city. Some of the places which are worth visiting are Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Amber Fort Palace, and Jantar Mantar. Hawa Mahal, constructed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, in the year 1799 intended to help royal ladies to have a complete view of the proceedings of the city without being watched. Made up of sandstone, the monument got around 900 windows. Adjacent to Hawa Mahal, is the City Palace, built by Raja Jai Singh. It is an outcome of Rajasthani and Muslim architectural efforts. Jantar Mantar, constructed by Maharaja Jai Singh II, is located at different places in the country, one of them situated at Jaipur. The observatory has been very well guarded, and is used to predict eclipses along with measuring time and many more activities such as tracking astronomical bodies with the help of geometric devices.

Day 06: Jaipur/Delhi

The last day of our journey on the way to Delhi, we will visit Amber Fort, again an example of wonderful architecture. The fort is a mixed version of both Muslim and Hindu architecture, hence bringing forth the best of two.
